Student Leadership

Being part of the Student Leadership team provides students from KS3 to KS4 the opportunity to make a positive impact within their school community. The Student Leadership programme, provides students from KS3 to KS4 the opportunity to make a positive impact within their school community within the ethos of our values of resilience, ambition and respect.

Student representatives will work closely with members of school staff to advocate for their areas; championing them and giving their time to support with planning and events. Student Leaders will take part in Leadership training with technology company Salesforce, gaining the valuable skills of communication, innovation and teamwork that is at the heart of being an effective leader.

As a school we have aligned our student leadership programme with our core values:

Challenge:To support students outside their comfort zone and support all students to present the best version of themselves

Learn: To promote successful learning habits and support others within their community

Achieve: To support each other to be successful

Resilience: To promote an understanding of wellbeing through mental health, anti-bullying and inclusion.

Ambition: To actively engage the school community in the vision of the student leaders and assist with maintaining a calm and organised school.

Respect: To improve the school's environmental impact and raise awareness of environmental issues that are of concern to our peers. To take on responsibilities with external visitors to the school.

Resi          Ambition         Respect
