Sponsored Walk 2017

One of the first ideas that the Student Council came up with back in September, was a sponsored walk to raise money for The Salvation Army, our chosen charity. Finally the day had come to run it and luckily the sun was shining.

The students had all worked hard to make sure lots of people had signed up and we had over 40 entries, all of whom had either completed a sponsorship form or paid £1 on the day to take part.

We had members of staff stationed at every corner of the field with stamps so all the participants had to go to every corner of the field to get a stamp to make sure no one was cutting corners. Some people ran, some people walked and there was lots of laughing. It was a great afternoon and well done to everyone who took part.
