Year 9 Belt Up

On Tuesday 18^th April, we were privileged to welcome Box Clever Theatre to Meridian High School who presented a road safety performance called ‘Belt Up’ to all of our Year 9 students. The presentation was an exciting mixture of dramatic performance and real life experience which both captured student’s minds and also taught them the reality of dangerous driving. Students were challenged to participate and share their views on a wide range of road safety topics, which resulted in them having greater awareness of how to be a safe passenger in someone else’s car as well as preparing them for being a safer driver in the future.
