GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

The Amazing People Flagship School

It was with a great deal of pride that Mr Giles and Mrs Bone took four of our year 11 prefects to the BETT show in London last week to speak on behalf of Amazing People.  The BETT show is a huge annual technology event which showcases the most innovative and exciting developments in the world of education.

Our students, together with Mrs Bone, spoke to an audience of school leaders about the positive impact that the Amazing People Schools link we have developed has already had, and will continue to make on the students of Meridian High School.  It was also used to launch the new Amazing People Schools film, which was produced at Meridian High School.
