Merdidan High School pupils attended a service at Croydon town hall to commemorate the Holocaust Memorial Day on Friday 27th were a massive credit to the school. They were so impeccably well behaved and their presentation was the best from all the local schools that participated during commemoration – my best school visit at MHS!
Jaik’s poem was so amazing that it had some section of the audience ‘whooping’ with excitement and appreciation. Even the Mayor was mightly impressed by their conduct and performance. Ms Penny Smith-Orr said this was the best from AHS/MHS since she’s been organising the event. The pupils enjoyed themselves thoroughly and have pleaded to be taken to commemorate next year’s HMD.
