The modern world is dominated by an ever-changing media landscape, and young people consume and produce more media than any other generation previously. Media Studies aims to give students the tools to think critically about the media that they consume, and engage actively with the media that they encounter, rather than simply being passive consumers.

At Key Stage Three you will explore a range of media texts and platforms while creating your own media products.

Within Key Stage Four, you will use professional practices to produce high quality media texts, while investigating issues of representation, demography and media ownership.
