History
KS3
By the end of Key Stage 3 pupils should be able to have developed a knowledge and understanding of key periods of British history. They should be developing their skills by using evidence to investigate key concepts such as causation, chronological understanding and the significance of events. They will develop their written explanations through extended written essay tasks. The KS3 curriculum is taught as part of the Amazing curriculum alongside our other Humanities subjects.

KS4
Pupils will continue to develop historical skills through investigations which will enable them to question different interpretations of the past and arrive at a balanced judgement based on evidence. Pupils will be able to link current events to events from the past and develop a lifelong love for the subject and appreciate its relevance and importance.
